Good Job! NEW
by: Wei Liang

Hi John,
Congrats on completing the first module in SMU! I agree with you that the guest seminar had taught us many things which we could not learn from textbook and it was indeed a fruitful experience. It helped to increase our confidence level when we approached different entrepreneurs and equipped us with the skills to interact with high level professionals.
Let’s work hard together for the final test on Friday! Good luck!

Good job NEW
by: Aldred

Hey John,

Lets cheer ourselves on for surviving our first module in SMU. I'm sure we have both experienced a different culture in SMU compared to our previous schools. Your insightful posts on the forum have certainly been enriching and it was a great learning process.

I hope to see you in my other modules as well. Let's work hard together. Good job!

Welcome John. NEW
by: Michael Cheong

Hi John, I am sure that during the 4 weeks of TWC lesson, in-class presentation and group presentation gave you a strong confidence in presentation skill.
Like what you have said, getting prepared to present at any point in time regardless whether be it in university or work, it is the right framework to think about in order to present with substance and also applying theories that we have learnt in lessons to back up our viewpoints.

Learning in TWC NEW
by: Selena

Hi John,

I agree with what you said that whatever we learn in TWC is more than just textbook knowledge. The knowledge we learned can be also applied in the real world.

In the beginning I had the same thoughts as others that TWC is just another 'fluff' module, but surprising it isn't. It a module that I gain so much insight. The way how prof facilitates in our learning all the way down to break-out sessions, and to the Guest speaker Seminar, was really a fruitful experience.

In addition, I believe that what ever prof shared, including her experiences, we takeaway a lot from it. Hence, it is one module that gets me prepared in my career path in years to come.
