Agreed
by: JOel

Hi Grace,

I definitely agree with you on the last part. Look at a person's strengths and make the best out of it rather than pick on his weaknesses. Take care and best of luck!

Good stuff!
by: Vincent Ng

Hi,

I thought it was great that you managed to throw in the aspect of self reflection in this article! I think that is an important factor in entrepreneurship where you have to constantly revisit your business to better it.

“The most valuable thing you can make is a mistake - you can't learn anything from being perfect.”

I guess the gist of the quote is to always regard oneself as imperfect and always strive to be perfect in order to learn and grow.

great work =)

Great quote!
by: Ahmad

Hi grace,

You have a nice quote there. It strikes me deep. I couldn't agree with you more than by being perfect, we wouldn't learn anything much. thanks for the quote!

i can identify with you
by: Yue Lin

Hi Grace,

I can definitely identify with your experiences, and no doubt, cold calling is not an easy (or pleasant) task. That is why this course is so practical and we really learn a lot, as we are really given the opportunity to actually execute the business. I love the quote that you make, and we must also learn how to maintain our grace under fire (when the pressure of business builds up). All the best (:

Being relevant to external parties
by: Shawn

You brought up a good point in your entry, that of being relevant/important to the party you are dealing with. More often than not, external parties fail to get back to us or respond to our queries and questions because we are deemed to be "irrelevant" to them. They must be thinking: "How would this person add value to my business" or "Why should I reply to this email?". Going along those lines, it is thus very important for a team to determine their business's strengths, key selling points and areas in which they can benefit or add-value to their target audience. Good posting!

True courage...
by: jasmine

True courage comes from not being fearless but being very very afraid but still willing to go on.

Way to go grace, we sure will make the business succeed!

Nice article
by: Jeanie Chen

I love your final quote “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”

it was really inspiring! Glad that you learnt many values that would really help you when you enter the working world. These are the stuff that you learn through experience and are not found in the textbooks!

All the best in your future! :)

Entrepreneurship is hardwork
by: Eric

Hello,
Yeah I agree with you that we learned alot from this course and it definitely put us in good stead for whatever we do in the future. I think success only comes with hardwork. From the cold calls and talking to strangers, you have definitely put in alot of hardwork into this business.

All the best!

Hello!
by: Rachel Tan

Hi Grace,

I really agree with your post. Like you, I would change A LOT of things if I could go back in time. From controlling group dynamics, to delegating work, to setting proper deadlines and responsibilities. Thankfully, we do have a second chance at this and I'm sure we'll learn from this module not to make the same mistakes again.

I hope all goes well with your entrepreneur endeavors!
