Agree
by: Marco

I totally agree with you, it's amazing how many ideas are generated by each of us but just a few of them are pursued. This course give us the opportunity to finally pursue our dreams. Before this course i was skeptical about the possibility to become an entrepreneur, now i cannot think to anything else!!!

A Mission Indeed
by: David Lin

You are so right, I too am amazed that Prof Pamela can generate so many business ideas by just flipping through the newspaper for example!

I do understand your story, I myself started a small business couple of years ago. While I too dont earn much, it is something I can call my own. Futhermore the business has allowed me to be financially independent.

Great video of Steve Jobs, it's one of my favourite speeches - truly inspiring!

Something meaningful
by: Sam

Yup i think the opportunities for entrepreneurs are indeed limitless and in our lives, we should really set out to do things that are meaningful. And that is why i myself is determined to take the entrepreneur route, as i can be in control of what i want to do and i can choose to work on things that matters to me.

Comfort Zone
by: Winston

Hi Claire,

Early in your journal, you mentioned about having a very stable and secure environment in your family. Similarly, most of us in Singapore have that luxury. That results in us staying within our comfort zones.

As an entrepreneur, as remember to be challenging your boundaries and comfort zones.

Good luck for your future endeavors!

Cheers
Winston

An Entrepreneur is a special kind of person
by: Ben Pua

Yes you're spot on Claire, it takes a special kind of person to be an entrepreneur and your words in caps hits it spot on. If you aren't hungry, or neither are you foolish; it wouldn't even start this one step down this long road of change, rejection and loneliness.

However, being that special kind of person, the rewards you are expecting out of this path may not be that ordinary in the first place. I would expect change, challenges and experiences to be among the many other things.

Money is always a good motivation; however in my opinion, money alone will not see you through this path.
