hands on learning NEW
by: clarine

Hi,

I agree with you that learning should never be confined within a classroom. It is the real life interactions and hands on experiences that we learn the most.I am really glad that everyone enjoyed ebc class as much as me. All the best!

The real taste NEW
by: Jacqueline Quek

Hi Axel

Similarly I thought that EBC would be a conventional management class that would us sitting through case studies after case studies.

I agree that our class gave us an opportunity to try out and test our skills and knowledge that we have learned so far. This is just the beginning, let's truly put our knowledge into practice and follow our dreams (:

real stuff NEW
by: Ke Hui

as the "seniors" of the school, i totally understand the pains of sitting through case study after case study. indeed, prof's teaching style has given us a lot of hands-on experience and i'm sure it'd be even more exciting if we had to deal with real capital and risks! :)

Learning that is not confined NEW
by: Stacie

Axel I feel that you hit the needle in the head when you mentioned that learning is not confined in the class room. The breakout sessions made the concepts come to life and made the learning so much more interactive. That set this course apart from so many others that place so much emphasis on the theory but not on the practical aspect. =)

Breakout sessions are fun! NEW
by: Siti Muzalifa

Haha I actually had the same 'negative' perception at the beginning of class that it was going to be another 'case studies' mgmt type of module. But luckily we have a better and fun way of learning through breakout sessions and not an influx of case studies :D! Glad you had a fulfilling time in class, so do I!
