HELLO! NEW
by: SHERHAN

woah! what an insightful and well-thought comment.
I agree with you that the hard skills which we learnt from this module is not the only thing treasurable. What's more precious are the soft skills we acquired, which cannot be attained through textbooks etc. I agree with you that our mindset are so important when it comes to be an entrepreneur. thanks for your quote about how entrepreneurship is a spirit, a way of life. It totally summarised my exact thoughts about what I have learnt from EBC.

Hi Lionel,

Breakout sessions were really beneficial for me too! Did push me to take actions than just hypothesizing, like what you said.

I truly believe in your group's idea so I hope your team will continue working on it. You guys are a truly capable bunch. I wish you all the best and continue to be inspired! :)

Keep paddling my friend :) NEW
by: Randy Teo

Very well said on entrepreneurship being a spirit. Hang on tightly to that mindset though. People are going to question it and try to quench that entrepreneurship fire within you, telling you that the fixed high flying career is a much better idea. When that time comes, I hope our journey in EBC together would serve as a good reminder of what a stellar entrepreneur you are :)

It has been an honour working alongside you as a team mate and friend over the past 13 weeks. Cheers to the days ahead!

Hi Lionel,

I feel the same way about you that entrepreneurship cannot be learnt. It is a way of life and it is ingrained in all that we do. Thank you for sharing your experience. I hope that your business idea comes to life because it is one that will create so much value in our society today.

Learn through our own experience NEW
by: Wilson

Yes, we really learnt a lot of practical knowledge through EBC and how Prof conducted her lessons. And I also agree that the best way to 'learn' entrepreneurship is actually to experience it ourselves. :]

I am glad you loved TWC and this course under Prof. Pamela - and I can see why - this course does have a lot of similar characteristics compared to TWC - both sound equally stimulating! :)

It's all in the mind NEW
by: Wang En Jian

Hey Lionel I couldn't agree more than it's all in the mind. Half the challenge when it comes to entrepreneurship is to convince yourself to go out and put yourself out there to be assessed by society and the marketplace. Too many of us will feel too much fear or weigh too many options to ever venture out there. Entrepreneurship is truly a mindset.

The inhibitions we have imposed on ourselves in our minds will truly be the greatest impediments to our success in life, and yet therein lies our greatest strength, the ability to choose our opportunities and make the most of them.

I hope we all find the courage and strength in ourselves to make choices in life, to dare to put ourselves out there. More importantly may we all have the determination and belief to finish what we have started.

The Spirit of Entrepreneurship NEW
by: Crys

totally agree with you that the key criteria for being an entrepreneur is most probably the mindset. While hard skills can be trained where necessary, having the right mindset that takes that much longer to cultivate.

Yet, without the right mindset, it would be much less effective to drill in any knowledge or skills, because they wouldn't be used in their most effective way.

On the side, I did track a couple of prof's comments. Not sure if it's what you want, but if you're still interested drop me a mail, and i'll be happy to send them your way :D

From XU ZHAOXI NEW
by: XU ZHAOXI

I have exactly the same feeling as you. From my past experience or from my own personality, the idea of becoming an entrepreneur has never come cross my mind. However after taking this course, I realize that even though setting up one's own business is not easy, it's not completely beyond me. As long as we are driven and we have a brilliant idea and team.
